La sua Juventus non è certo passata alla storia come una delle più vincenti, anzi, eppure Gigi Maifredi intervistato da ‘La Repubblica’ ha qualche consiglio da dare sul prossimo allenatore bianconero.

Secca infatti arriva la bocciatura per Maurizio Sarri, che viene ritenuto non adatto a gestire la rosa bianconera.

“A parte che sarebbe la terza scelta dopo Guardiola e Deschamps che non sono riusciti a prendere. Lui usa 12 o 13 giocatori, se lo fai alla Juventus ti scoppia lo spogliatoio in mano dopo un mese. Gli servirà un sacco di coraggio, prevedo grandi problemi. Ma si prenderebbero lo Scudetto anche se allenasse Andrea Agnelli“.

Maifredi invece difende il lavoro di Allegri che a suo dire resta il meglio su piazza.

“Il più bravo è Allegri, ma oggi i calciatori delle grandi squadre sono aziende e ognuno pensa a sé. Allegri non lo seguivano più. Gasperini? È bravo, però allena giocatori che muoiono dalla voglia di mettersi in mostra per giocare altrove, e per riuscirci seguirebbero l’allenatore anche nel fuoco”. 

Neppure l’ipotesi Guardiola peraltro scalda molto Maifredi, che sottolinea come il catalano lontano da Barcellona non abbia fatto benissimo.

“Si fa seguire dai calciatori? Con Messi ci riusciva, con Ibra mai. E adesso al City non ha nessun fuoriclasse assoluto e questo gli facilita la didattica, dopo di che mica possiamo metterci a discutere Guardiola”.

Maifredi poi si mette per un attimo al posto di Sarri e gli dà un consiglio.

“Direi: questo è Ronaldo e può fare quello che vuole, ma tutti gli altri faranno quello che dico io. Che poi è l’identica frase che Carletto Mazzone disse al Brescia, nominando Baggio. Certo, Cristiano non è più quello di due o tre anni fa, è sempre formidabile ma non più lo stesso”.

Nel mirino di Maifredi però non c’è solo Sarri ma pure Ancelotti e la sua prima stagione al Napoli.
