Maradona and Veron
Unpleasant situation between Maradona and Veron,
during the Match of Peace at Olympic stadium in Rome. Offensive words between the two Argentinian footballers, in front of audiences and cameras. The reason? Great friends before the World Cup in South Africa, in 2010, after, bitter enemies. In that sporting event, Maradona was the Argentina‘s coach, Veron, the player to whom the Pibe de Oro had gifted the keys of the midfield.
But during the first match against Nigeria, Veron came out from the pitch because of a muscle problem. The injury prevented him to play the subsequent matches against South Korea and Greece. After the group stage, the footballer expected to come back against Mexico, and Germany, the future world champion. But Veron did not see the pitch, no more. Lots of accusations between them on press and on TV until last July, when the two one faced each other hard-nosed during a meeting at the offices of the Argentina’s federation. We already know what it happened in Rome.

durante la partita della pace all’Olimpico di Roma. Dove volano parole grosse. I due che litigano davanti a pubblico e telecamere. Il motivo? Grandi amici prima dei mondiali 2010 in Sudafrica, acerrimi nemici dopo. In quella edizione Maradona era il ct dell’Argentina, Veron, il calciatore al quale il pibe de oro aveva affidato le chiavi del centrocampo.
Durante la prima partita contro la Nigeria però, Veron usci dal campo per un problema muscolare. L’infortunio gli impedì di giocare le successive partite contro Corea del Sud e Grecia. Terminata la fase a gironi, il calciatore si aspettava di rientrare contro il Messico, per poi giocare contro la futura compagine campione del mondo, la Germania. Ma Veron non vide più il campo. Accuse e controaccuse a mezzo stampa e tv sino allo scorso mese di Luglio, quando i due si affrontarono a muso duro in federazione Argentina. Di ciò che è successo a Roma già siamo a conoscenza,
