Ecco qualche passaggio della sua intervista: “Keita Balde è un ottimo giocatore, lo ha dimostrato con la Lazio. E’ un ragazzo che ha avuto un percorso diverso rispetto a Kalidou. Lui è cresciuto in Spagna non in Senegal. Lui deve ancora migliorare dal punto di visto del gioco di squadra, ma ha doti enormi, potenza fenomenale e capacità di fare gol. Non so se abbia chiesto informazioni su Napoli a Kalidou, ma quando resti un mese insieme per disputare la Coppa d’Africa (i due sono compagni di squadra nel Senegal_ndr), qualcosina la si può scambiare sulle rispettive situazioni”.
E ancora: “Kalidou è stato scoperto da Micheli. Poi il maestro Benitez e Bigon fecero fare l’operazione. Benitez è stato un maestro. Poi ha trovato Sarri che ha grande fiducia in lui. Spesso mi chiedo come mai il mister faccia uscire palla al piede lui e non Albiol che è molto più esperto, questo vuol dire che Sarri gli dà grande fiducia e lo ha aiutato tanto a crescere“.
