Massimo Mauro: “If Allegri is first and Sarri is second, there is a reason.”

These are the words of former Juve‘s footballer and Napoli, now Sky commentator, in an interview released to Il Mattino. Mauro said this, discussing about to the prize given to Murizio Sarri this week, the Panchina d’Oro.
Here is part of the interview: “I would have voted Allegri because who wins is always right, in football and in sport in general. The important thing is the first position. I appreciate Sarri that makes play Napoli well, but if Allegri is first and the Neapolitan coach is second, there is a reason. ”
And again: “Sarri is extraordinary but needs to improve at reading the matches, as against Real Madrid. Napoli played 30 minutes beautifully, but at the first occasion, Cristiano Ronaldo touched the goalpost. After the first goal, Azzurri should not have think to score the second one, but to defend the first one. ”

According to  Mauro, Allegri is in the first position, not because he has a roster that is worth more, but because he is better than Sarri.

Queste le parole dell’ex calciatore di Juve e Napoli, ora opinionista Sky, in un’intervista rilasciata a Il Mattino. Mauro ha detto ciò, discutendo del premio dato a Murizio Sarri in settimana, ovvero la Panchina d’Oro.
Questo uno stralcio dell’intervista: “Io avrei votato Allegri perchè chi vince ha sempre ragione, nel calcio ed in generale nello sport. L’importante è arrivare primi. Stimo Sarri che fa giocare bene il Napoli, ma se Allegri è davanti a lui in classifica, un motivo ci sarà”.
Ed ancora: ”Sarri è straordinario ma deve migliorare nella letture delle partite, come contro il Real Madrid. Il Napoli ha giocato 30 minuti splendidi, ma al primo contropiede, Cristiano Ronaldo prende il palo. Gli azzurri dopo il primo goal non dovevano pensare subito al raddoppio, ma difendere il goal”.

Per Mauro, Allegri è davanti a Sarri non perchè vanta un parco giocatori che vale di più, ma perché è più bravo.
