Premium Sport writes that the World Cups for club, played from 1960 to 2000 between the Coppa Campioni‘s European winner and the Copa Libertadores‘ South American winner, to determine who was the world champion team, are considered not official victories.
Pratically, FIFA does not recognize them because played outside its organization.

Decisione shock della “nuova” Fifa. Premium Sport scrive che le Coppe Intercontinentali giocate dal 1960 al 2000 tra la vincitrice europea della Coppa Campioni e quella sudamericana della Copa Libertadores per stabilire chi fosse la squadra campione del mondo, vengono considerate titoli extra ufficiali.
In pratica, la Fifa non le riconosce in quanto giocate fuori dalla propria organizzazione.
Provvedimento che riguarderebbe le squadre italiane di Milan, Inter e Juventus. Anche i bianconeri infatti, perderebbero i titoli del 1985 e 1996.
