Here are some passages of the interview released to Il Mattino: “He has become a leader on the pitch and into locker room. I’m proud of him, he has now reached full maturity. Ce lo spiega Ivan Faustinho, figlio del grande Canè, ed ex allenatore di Lorenzo Insigne dal 2007 al 2010, negli Allievi e con la Primavera del Napoli.
Ecco qualche passaggio dell’intervista rilasciata a Il Mattino: “È diventato leader in campo e fuori. Sono fiero di lui, ha ormai raggiunto la piena maturità. Mi riferisco soprattutto all’aspetto caratteriale, perché tecnicamente è sempre stato molto dotato. Mi ha colpito la tranquillità con cui si è espresso sul rinnovo contrattuale col Napoli. Era il salto di qualità che gli mancava ancora, la mentalità e la gestione delle situazioni extra campo”.
Ed ancora: “Deve ancora migliorare nella gestione dei momenti difficili. Ad inizio stagione non era in grande forma ed ha cercato forse con paura le sue giocate. Se riesce a non farsi condizionare dai fattori esterni, diventerà ancora più forte. Anche Baggio, Del Piero o Totti hanno imparato a gestire i rapporti con media, club e ambiente verso i 30 anni. Lorenzo è cresciuto moltissimo negli ultimi mesi, è come se fosse scattato un click nella sua mente. Il Napoli gli rinnovi presto il contratto”.
