La maglia bianca con la banda azzurra era quasi diventata una seconda pelle per i calciatori del Napoli, con la quale avevano ottenuto una lunga striscia di risultati positivi. A Madrid è stata riposta nel cassetto, ma solo perché si è dato precedenza, per regolamento, a quelli del Real, i Blancos per antonomasia.
La maglia nera, già di per sé triste, lo è diventata ancor di più dopo la sconfitta in Champions League. Se scommettessi che non la rivedremo più sino al termine della stagione, avrei buone possibilità di vincere.
