Manolo ha avuto la sfortuna, se si può chiamare tale, di avere come suo compagno di reparto, un mostro sacro chiamato Gonzalo Higuain. Si vero, l’attaccante azzurro poteva essere impiegato anche come esterno destro d’attacco, ma Sarri lo vedeva più come centravanti, e poi oggi, ricoprire il ruolo di Callejon, è cosa difficile davvero molti, ancor più per un calciatore che ha caratteristiche diametralmente opposte.
Il mercato è appena iniziato, non possiamo sapere se saranno le spagnole Valencia e Siviglia ad accaparrarsi il giovane attaccante, oppure se approderà in Germania tra le fila dello Shalke 04. Certo è, che sarà difficile rivederlo in azzurro e questo ci dispiace. Gabbiadini, quando è stato impiegato, ha sempre sfoderato prestazioni di alto livello corredate da goal (vedi la sua ottima media goal/minuti giocati), inoltre possiede dei colpi davvero unici. Uno su tutti, la sua facilità di calciare con forza e precisione, anche da fermo.
Anche se il Napoli non ha potuto “sfruttare” in pieno il ventiquattrenne bergamasco, di sicuro farà plusvalenza, “tesoretto” che si aggiungerà ai proventi per l’accesso in Champions League.
