A lot of millions on the Champions!
The Champions season is officially begun yesterday,
in fact, you already start “earning” thanks to the preliminary, as you will read later. Anyway, we are about to value how much worth the participation in the competition:
participation in the group stage: 12 million euros
access to the knockout stage: 5.5 million euros
access to the quarters: 6 million euros
access to the semifinals: 7 millions
runner-up: 10.5 million euros
winner of the Cup: 15 million euros.
You also add:
victory: 1.5 million euros
draw: 0.5 million euros.
Then there is the market pool, which is the amount that UEFA has obtained thanks to TV rights, and that allocatesto clubs, the Italy’s share is € 110 million euros.
The first half of this percentage, 55 million is divided up as follows:
Juventus (ranked first in the league) 50%, so, 27.5 million euros
Napoli (runner-up) 35% , so, 19.25 million, which can become 22, the 40%, if Roma will not access to the stage to group.
Roma (third place) 15%, so, 8.25 million euros, but only if will win the preliminaries. If it loses them, will gain the 10% only.
The second half of the market pool, 55 million euros, it depends on the number of matches played by each italian team. In fact, the more long and lonely is the path of each team, the richer will be his gain, at the expense of those who will be eliminated prematurely.
The simplest example is that all the three Italian teams, if Roma keeps going, are simultaneously eliminated at the group stage. In this case they would divide up the 55 million euros, so, roughly 18.30 million euros each, the same part.
The other cases are complicated, however, I repeat, the more a team goes on, the more it earns, and earns especially if the other Italian teams are eliminated prematurely.

E’ ufficialmente iniziata ieri la stagione Champions,
è infatti già dai preliminari che si inizia a “guadagnare”, come leggerete in seguito. Comunque, ecco si seguito valorizzata la partecipazione alla competizione:
partecipazione alla fase a gironi: 12 milioni
accesso agli ottavi di finale varrà 5,5 milioni
” ai quarti: 6 milioni
” alle semifinali: 7 milioni.

vincitrice della Coppa: 15 milioni.
a cui vanno aggiunti i premi partita:
vittoria: 1,5 milioni.

C’è poi il market pool, ovvero l’importo che l’UEFA si è garantita grazie ai diritti TV, e destina ai vari club, la quota che spetta all’Italia è di € 110 milioni.
La prima metà di tale quota, 55 milioniè così suddivisa:
Juventus ( prima classificata in campionato) 50% ovvero 27,5 milioni.
Napoli (seconda classificata) 35% ovvero 19,25 milioni, che diventano 22, ovvero il 40% se la Roma non accede alla fase ai gironi.

La suddivisione della seconda metà del market pool, 55 milioni, dipende dal numero di partite giocate da ciascuna squadra rispetto al totale di quelle disputate dalla federazione di appartenenza. Infatti più lungo e solitario sarà il percorso di ciascuna squadra, più ricco sarà il suo incasso, a discapito di chi sarà eliminato prematuramente.
L’esempio più semplice è che le tre italiane, se la Roma passa, vengano contemporaneamente eliminate ai gironi, le stesse si dividerebbero equamente i 55 milioni della seconda metà del market pool, quindi, 18,30 milioni ciascuna.
Le altre ipotesi è complicato farle, comunque, ripetiamo, più una squadra andrà avanti, più guadagnerà, e guadagnerà soprattutto se le altre squadre italiane verranno eliminate prematuramente.
