Two Face Napoli
A Naples in the first half, another one in the second.
We take as a cue the two key players, however, subjects of our photomontage. Insigne and Mertens. The Frattamaggiore elf appeared dull, apathetic, not into the action as it usually is.
We do not want to even think that the reasons are to be found in the discontent of recent days, which has skillfully highlighted his entourage. It would be really unprofessional. We prefer to align the same way as the negative performance of the first half of the whole team.
Quite another thing, however, Dries Mertens . The Belgian outer enters with the right look and breaks the game. Mertens is more convincing, gives the charge to his companions, he propones himself, and scored two goals.
But what we must attribute this misstep of Naples? Surely the little mass belief in the field to the initial whistle. Serious thing for a team that wants to dominate the league and honor prestigious competitions. Napoli is not new to this attitude, last year’s departure was similar.
We like to think that this tie, would give a shock to everyone. That we must keep our feet on the ground. That you have to struggle more than other years. In short, there’s work to do… and maybe even expect some more market surprise.
