Escape for the victory (original title: Victory).
If the Serie A was a movie, this would seem its headline today. Do you remember the film set during Second World War? In an internment camp it is organized a challenge, a football match between German Nazis and war prisoners. The war prisoners renounce to escape between the first and second half, because understand that they can beat the hated enemy. They will manage to beat them but…they will also be able to flee thanks to the confusion during the ending celebrations
Even in Serie A it seems an escape for the victory for Juventus, Roma and Napoli, which got a mini gap between them and the others. This is the standings. Among the pursuers, Milan and Lazio have already gone beyond the most optimistic expectations. It is Inter, the real team, with a real coach, with a winning future, without the commitment of the international competitions, the most dangerous pursuer that can scare the fugitives.
The plot of the championship, however, is a bit different compared with that one of the film. The hated enemy (sportingly speaking), I refer to Juve which despite some stop, seems however destined to prevail. Roma, another opponent not so much nice, does not seems intentioned to give up.
In spite of it, the future is not yet written.
They will be decisive the direct challenges which will be played between Juve, Roma, Napoli, but also Inter, Milan, Lazio, Fiorentina, and perhaps Atalanta and Torino. All the other teams do not have no objectives in the championship and will play joking, until its end.
In the film, the prisoners’ team wins, and then takes advantage of the confusion to escape. Instead, Napoli could take advantage of the confusion first, and than, thanks to it, could
win and just later…could celebrate…
